About
This street is the bustling heart of Key West, and a great spot to experience the city's culture and nightlife. It's filled with fantastic restaurants, lively bars, art galleries, and shops selling unique gifts, clothes, and hand-rolled cigars. And don't forget to stand in line to take a photo at the Southernmost Point Buoy, which is just a block away. In the evening, you sip on a margarita and enjoy an al fresco meal, or join a haunted pub crawl and ghost tour of the area. Visit during the shoulder season between March and May when the weather is still pleasant, and the crowds are smaller. – Tripadvisor

    Many restaurants and shops
Bustling and busy - many restaurants and shops. Great to walk around day or night. Shockingly easy to find paid parking on side streets. It felt safe and was fun to walk around.

    So much fun
I was dumb and apparently didn't know this is like the Bourbon Street of Key West. Live music EVERYWHERE but not necessarily the most family friendly place. Our 11 year old saw LOTS of skin and heard lots of language and the booze is flowing. That said, we still had a blast wandering and shopping and eating.

The food, the drink, the shops
Lots to see and do. The food, drinks and shops make it well worth the effort. The crowds are always there but nothing too bad. The area maps are fairly accurate but the GPS on your phone can make it very easy to find any particular place you want to stop at.

    Place worth checking out!
Great place for food, music and night life. Different night life compared to city night life. However, there are so many different places. Each one can find a place they like depending on their preference.

    Loved it!
Reminds me a lot of New Orleans and the French Quarter. There as are so many restaurants, shops, and bars! Staying near Duvall Street is the preferred location so you can walk to the streets and not pay $30 to park. There are many homeless on the streets and roosters are everywhere.

    Beach Shoppers' Paradise
The best prices for beachwear! beautiful sun dresses and cover-ups. Key West tees practically free, everywhere on Duval Street. Had to check my luggage in since we bought so many gifts back for friends/family. Can't find these prices anywhere! After shopping, many yummy restaurants and ice cream or smoothie shops to choose from. Shopping and foods were available late into the night!

One of the best places ever to do a bar crawl.
Different venues, different music styles, different foods, different people, bar after bar. We usually start at Hog's Breath and work out way south. We find a short walk down the side streets will reveal hidden gems. This trip we found a place called Smokin Tuna Saloon and they served dinner until 11:00 PM which was great because we had gotten a late start. Also had a really good hard-rocking band.

    Heart of Key West
Duval Street is where it happens in Key West. Yes, its a tourist trap - but its fun - with plenty of options to eat, drink, and shop. I particularly enjoy the plethora of places to listen to live music and how welcoming it is of the LGBTQ community, with a number of gay options. I wouldn't spend all my time on the island here, but its worth some fun nights.

    Be Happy On Duval Street
Duval Street has endless shops, historical sites, and restaurants to please every age. The atmosphere is one of celebration. Our guide told us that they believe in "one family" to celebrate the good in all people. Everyone was so friendly. Music fills the air as you walk past many open air pubs and eateries. Celebrate happiness on Duval. Wear comfortable shoes because you will want to walk all day so you don't miss a thing.

This sort of street is not really our scene but there is a reasonable mix of bars and shops - it is like a mini New Orleans Bourbon street but less rowdy - or it was when we visited during the day time.

This is a review for island swimwear of Florida only. It’s a shop on Duval street that sells shirts etc.
The shop owner is very deceitful
and rude.
Avoid at all costs.

The cutie part of town with t-shirts, fudge, ice cream, and key lime whatever’s. Not a big fan of these kinds of places but you have to see it especially at night to get the festival experience.

I used to love Key West for its all-inclusive crazy. I got a very different feel this time. (Maybe it is the general political climate in Florida now, but I can say I did not get this same feeling in Miami.) Overwhelmed by t shirts shops that were overwhelmingly pro-Trump. Might see a tongue in cheek reference to gay culture here and there, but overwhelmed by one shop after the next the had the same negative merchandise. I could see how it would be funny if there were shirts about both parties (because, let's be frank, there is a lot of material for both) but I was left with a feeling that I did not belong here. If you are looking for a place that can laugh at itself, this is not it anymore. Key West used to exude the feeling there was a place for everyone here. It has changed.

Nothing special, but it's something to do when not on a beach. Lots of bars, restaurants, and shops.

Weed shop after weed shop with gross tee shirt stores, strip clubs mixed in with normal nice restaurants and coffee shops. Never coming back

Had a great time.
Hemmingway's house was full of history and 6 toed cats.
The chickens all over walking around was cool. So much fun!

So much to see and do. We rented a golf cart so we could get around the island and was able to see so much more than we would, had we been walking.
