It's Duval Street! World famous, so you have to hit the street one night to people watch, drink, and listen to music. However, think French Quarter of New Orleans - a bit smelly, drunk people everywhere and expensive drinks. It was fun to experience, but...More

This is a very high traffic area for both people and autos. A lot of bike riders and scooters also, so you need to pay attention when crossing the street. Duval street is lined with an eclectic collection of shops. Bars, Pubs, and Restaurants are...More

Take off to the side streets and get away from the CVS and Walgreens, outlet stores, bars, painfully loud music, and crowds and see the real Key west.

Decadence galore. Join in or watch, it's a mile or more of bar upon restaurant upon bar with a few shopping options tossed in. Love it!

Plenty of shopping and gift stores. You can easily spend the day on this street alone. Hot and humid most of the year so dress accordingly! If you like frozen drinks don't miss the Flying monkey bar.

For those looking to bar hop or shop, Duval street has everything you could want. Not exactly kid friendly due to language on t shirts in the shop windows, but Key West is more adult oriented. Several times a year they have some type of...More

Loads of tourist traps on this street but worth a visit. Endless souvenir shops, ice cream shops and bars but some very good restaurants as well. Can get loud as the sun goes down, so if you're looking for a quiet walk then steer clear......More

Everything you can imagine, and probably some that you cannot, is available on Duval Street--art, food, clothing, souvenirs, entertainment. And a brilliant sunset, too. Hold onto your wallet and see it all. Then buy a little of it.

It is a perfect day trip up the keys! Be aware traffic can get heavy, but that is something we do every time, all the way to Islamorada!

I would suggest staying in a middle key like islamorada or marathon. The hotel rates are more affordable. I usually stay on islamorada but I stay in very basic motels. I spend most of my time outside anyway! I would suggest... More
