It's really long - almost 2 miles. This is the main party-zone for Key West. It's loud, but fun. I got a Dominican cigar and smoked it here - not too bad!!

Bourbon Street or a warm Duval? Having been to both, they are well paired, but the added Florida warmth might just give this a slight edge. The appeal is the number of shops, plentiful restaurants and variety of bars designed to serve "one human family." This is a location for fun and action. Best served by renting a scooter or... More

It's probably what you expect. Drunk tourists, bad cover bands, expensive drinks and the occasional legitimately nice place to eat or drink. I stayed off this street as much as possible.

As part of trip to Keys stayed off Duval Street. Had a great time. Really enjoyed duval street and surrounding streets. Great lovely atmosphere. Everyone out to have a good time. Loads of bars and restaurants. Great to walk around. Rented bicycles one day and spent the day cycling around. We had a great time.

A tourist trap of a downtown with interesting parks and a large number of high end stores, popular bars and restaurants. Crowded sidewalks for walkers but walking is preferable to riding around on bikes at all hours of the night with many riders looking like elderly folks who should be walking instead of riding.

Very New Orleans feel. Glad to see it, but I think we were a little early in the day to enjoy the nighttime festivities!

If you're going to Key West, Fl., Duval Street is fun, energetic, and unusual - all of the things I enjoy whilst traveling. The best thing to do in Key West is see the sun set at the west end of Duval St. People come from all over to stand and watch the sun disappear at the most southern point... More

What a fun street every little bar had live music. Love the music it was all Jimmy Buffett style. The restaurants were terrific don't miss the lobster roll place. It's a little hole in the wall but let me tell you the main lobster roll is to die for. We went to a little place called Rick's and listen to... More

What's a visit to Key West without going to Duval St? We aren't into the bar scene, but there are some really nice stores and restaurants on this quite long street. Very quaint homes and B&B's as well. We enjoyed our visit very much.
