The restored light house and keepers home, offers a lot of history about the area and light keeping service, which ultimately became part of the Coast Guard. It's 88 steps to the top of the light house, but the view is worth it.

I find Lighthouses are magical places to visit. This particular lighthouse and keepers quarters museum was certainly worth the cost of admission. Besides the panoramic views the amount of history to be acquired was excellent. The keepers quarters was restored with original artifacts. Went early...More

Key West clean up crews did a great job after Irma. You'd never know what happened only a few short months ago as you enjoy the view from the lighthouse.

The view is great from the top as you can get your bearings on Key West. It looks short from the bottom but feels taller once you climb the steps. Make sure you go to the root trees to take a few pictures.

We climbed to the top of the light house and had a wonderful view of the Key West area. Well worth the price of admission. Viewed the museum house as well.

This is the highest point in Key West. After 88 steps, you can see a 360 degree view of the island. It is definitely worth the time to visit.

We stopped here while walking to the Hemmingway House. It was a quick 45 minute tour. There are 88 steps to the top of the lighthouse, but you can also opt to only tour the lighthouse keeper's house. Military, AAA, & student discounts are available,...More

Loved the view from the top. Four cruise ships in port to see in the horizon. If you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all but worth the $10

It was enjoyable and educational to see the lighthouse and grounds up close. You 're allowed to climb to the top of the lighthouse for a great view (and some serious exercise). They also provided additional information on other lighthouses on the Keys that I...More

I believe it was $10 a person. However, I am a Coast Guard Veteran and they admitted me and my family for free.

Unlike some of the other light houses this one does not have landings to rest on. I have a bad back and weak legs, and asthma, it was a struggle for me but i made it and it was well worth the struggle.
