Enjoyed the personal touch of the guided tour. Getting to see where the family lived, the CATS was Amazing. History that you don't want to miss out if you are a fan.

This is a very popular attraction and you will often see lines on the street to enter, so you might consider going earlier in the day. As their website notes, they only take cash, so if you are a plastic-only type person, make sure you have some cash on you. Entry includes a half-hour tour which is super informative with... More

Went to the Hemingway House last week. I'm a big fan of Hemingway's writing, my wife maybe not so much. We both really enjoyed our visit. The house is beautiful and nicely furnished (with a lot of furniture Hemingway and his wife brought back from Paris). Fantastic garden and the cats are great too. It was a bit overly crowded... We enjoyed the Hemingway home/museum, the tour guide was very detailed!! After the tour, we enjoyed walking around the estate with ease, loved looking at the unique cats, they are used to being "looked at"!! The staff was friendly !!! This place is a "MUST see" when you're in Key West!!! One tip tho, be sure to have cash on... More

I'm sure it would be a nice tour if it was empty and you don't have your kids with you. My kids were only interested in the cats, we stayed for 20 minutes and left.

I love the Hemmingway House and have toured a few times. Each time I see or learn something new. Each tour guide is a bit different with a different style. I advise not going near the end of the day. Our tour was a bit short and we were cleared out before I was really ready to leave. Our fault... More

We're very glad we visited the Ernest Hemingway Home, it was very interesting & definitely worth seeing. The guides were very knowledgeable & put a lot of effort into the tours. With all 50 some cats on the property it was very clean & fresh in the house & on the property...how do they do it?

As a best selling author, being able to tour Ernest Hemmingway's home was close to a religious experience. I could barely speak as I soaked up every moment in the home of this great author. Being able to step into the opening of his writing studio was just incredible. I loved the kitties everywhere thoughout the property. We did not... More

Beautiful home and grounds of one of the greatest American writers. Definitely take a tour- the tour guides really bring the house to life and add so much. Cat and animal lovers will love the many 6-toed cats that are everywhere.
