This is the best place for the 4 to 15 age. The viewing ports are their height, best of all lots of stuff to hold and touch. There is also a Shark pool in back, to see, with open sea water and feeding times. It is just as good and clean as it was 33 years ago. So very happy... More

I have visited the aquarium several time, I live here locally. There is something for everyone at this aquarium. There is a petting tank that has some starfish, sea-cucumbers, and conch. There are several tanks with sea life. Two large tanks with sea turtle and sting rays and one with some shark ( they feed the shark while you are... More

We traveled with our 6 year old daughter and we all LOVED this! We tried to do a lot in the short time we had in Key West. We didn't arrive until 5:15 and the aquarium closed at 6. We thought we would be rushed, but we had the best time! Kristina, took our daughter to feed the stingrays by... More

Our family with a couple of teenagers actually enjoyed this small, quaint yet very old aquarium. It is located in old town of Key West where there is a lot of tourist traps. The Information that was given every 1/2 hour was awesome. Learned more about turtles & Sharks here than Shedd Aquarium or Monterrey Aquarium. I love that this... More

Decided to stop in for a visit while our cruise ship stopped here for the day. Disappointed once inside to see that it was very small inside, very few exhibits and museum is in disrepair. Outside deck that overlooks fish pool has rotten wood, not very clean or well kept. Many of the tanks are missing the fish that are... More

I was sorry to read that your tour with us did not meet your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Our aquarium content is restricted to species of fish indigenous to the Florida Keys only. We are constantly adding to and updating our exhibits, freshening paint and decor where possible. However, we are a historic... More

This is not a large aquarium but still offers a good variety of different kind of fish. There are rays and sharks and even barracudas.

The KW Aquarium is in dire need of an update. Some of the tanks are too small for the number or size of the fish that are in them.

The aquarium was very nice and the price wasn't too bad. We booked it as a package with the Ernest Hemingway house. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. Rae (not sure the spelling) did the activities and presentations, and was wonderful. She was very informative and enthusiastic. She went from activity to activity almost non-stop. She taught but... A lot of cool exhibits at this place! Lots of beautiful, tropical fish. Turtles, sharks, stingrays... all kinds of sea creatures to check out. Informative shows and interactive opportunities make it easy to spend a few hours here! The highlight of Mallory Square, in my opinion!
