As many know the keys are full of rock and coral beaches. Very painful. This beach was sandy. I went out quite a distance and it is all soft and sandy. Place to change, food available. We plan on returning tonight to watch the sunset.

Had a nice visit to Higgs beach. Sand was nice away from water. Very rocky along waters edge so be careful. Very soft once you get off shore. $20 to rent 2 chairs and umbrella. Nice restaurant nearby.
Beautiful water color here. I highly recommend it ! Can't wait to go back ! I didn't think this beach was going to be that nice , but I really liked it.
Not my type of beach as I like clean and clear with manicured sand. So...I would not go to this beach again. Good if you just want to cool off and see some fish.
