Be prepared to wait your turn in order to get a picture but it’s worth the wait. Very popular stop and great photo moment for you and your family and friends.

It’s a tourist trap. There are much better views elsewhere. Plan on snapping your photo for Facebook and leaving right away.

Long lines just to stand there and take a photo and the trollies drive right past but since its not a marked stop they don't.

Every visit to Key West must include a visit to the southern most point. I was surprised the line for picture wasn't longer. There was a nice park and beach near by.

WHY? ......We could not understand people queueing (standing in line) 40-50 deep, waiting to have their photos taking at this 'point'. If you are keen to do this, do so when the trolly tours are not operating. Good luck.

So you have to get a photo next to this marker even though it's not even the southernmost point since that point is on a restricted U.S military base nearby. take the photo and pretend. Lots of tourists wanting photos so you will have to...More

First of all, this isn't the Southernmost point of anything. Secondly, you have to get in line to get a photo of yourself next to it. Skip it and go to the Butterfly Conservatory. Much more fun.

The line to take your picture starts forming very early. View the sunrise from the pier near Higgs Beach and go take your photos at Southernmost Point with no waiting.

The southermost point is located outside of the Duval Street corridor. We took the hop on, hop off trolley and it was one of the last sites on their route so we wasted a lot of time getting to it. There is not much of...More

It is not far off of Duval Street. I am not sure about the public transportation because we walked everywhere.
