Great to pose for photos at the southern most point in the US. A lot of fun. There was a line but it was worth it.

This is a popular site for sure. The lines are well worth the photo op. Stop and talk to people from all over the world.

Finally after living in Florida for over 10 years, my husband and I made it to this famous tourist spot. There is a line of people that want to get their picture taken and everyone is very friendly and willing to help others take pictures. If you go here, you will meet people for everywhere. Just a nice little stopping... More

This is one of the most popular spots in Key West. People line up at dawn to have their photo taken. There is very limited parking in the area. A few hours after sunrise the marker is backlit so a flash is recommended for photos.

You just have to go there! It's like an icon and the big thing is to have your picture taken at the big thing!

...because it is not the southernmost point. The southernmost point is actually behind the fort Zachary. However, the truth is that this place is the southernmost point what is free of charge. If you want to enter to Fort Zachary you need to pay 2,50 USD, but this is the lovely place with nice and quiet small beach and park... More

Yep.. You have to travel to the almost Southernmost point. (actual spot is on Naval Property) get in line and Get your pic taken at the buoy. A better photo op is the Mural at the Cuban Coffee Queen at the Historic Seaport.

On our visit down to Key West so we also wanted to visit America's most southerly point - Southernmost Point. Next stop by boat south is Cuba. I recommend you all to visit this place if you heading down for Key West. //Mats Samaras, Stockholm, Sweden

Nothing much to see here but if you go as far down as Key West you might as well have a photo taken at this landmark. There is usually a bit of a queue but worth the wait. there is a guy there who will take your photo with your phone for a few dollars.
