This beach is a beautiful little piece of paradise that has a great bar /restaurant overlooking it under the same name. Clean groomed sand between the toes, deck chairs and umberellas, or sit in the restaurant and enjoy the margaritas on the breakfast menu -...More

nice area, people about. Many go to end of pier and take picture. We ended up here by mistake as we missed the turn for the Southernmost point. This buoy in the picture was not at South Beach that I could see.

We live South Beach. It has a small stretch of white sand at the end of the country. You can rent lounge chairs and umbrellas.

We had no idea we were only 90 miles from Cuba at this location! It's a great landmark, but hard to get a good photo due to all the visitors! Best to get their early if you can.

At the end of Dual Street is a big old bouy that says it is the southernmost tip of the USA. (It was put there before Hawaii became a state.)

Take your photo of the line and other people at the monument and move on. Not worth standing in line. Too many good things to do. Go snorkeling! Eat. See Himmingway's cats. Anything would be better than standing in the heat for a picture with...More

Fun to see the southernmost point marker and take a photo. We lucked out and there wasn't a huge line up.

Arrive early before 7:30 a.m. and there will be no line up. It is a must see thing to do in Key West.

It is a private beach and has European rules for sunbathing. It is not clothing optional but does allow topless; just like all of Europe and most everywhere except US public beaches.

Yes. I think they are $10 a day. But if your going to be there longer I suggest buying one of the chairs from cvs or Walgreens for 20.
