These guys were awesome. Great areas to kayak. If doing the big mangrove loop. I would do it backwards at high tide so you can coast and look for feeding fish vs working against the current.

We had the best time! Great guidance from Frank. We rented a tandem kayak for 1/2 day and decided to tour the mangroves. We saw crocodiles, iguanas, nurse sharks, and lots of other critters (even a raccoon)! You can't go wrong with the Kayak Shack!

Went with a group of four with Andy as our tour guide. Andy answered every question that was asked and gave tons of information on different wildlife and the islands around. If able to pick a tour guide, I would highly recommend asking for Andy....More

Very friendly, affordable had a great time! We were worried if they would be open since the hurricane. Beautiful water! They had several options available. We did the one hour mangrove option since we where headed to the airport. Would definitely return here.

Rent Kayaks here to go to Indian Key, one mile from shore. The old capital of the Keys which was destroyed via an Indian attack in 1840. The snorkeling and history are amazing!

They rent them but I'm not sure if you can launch your own there? There are plenty of spots nearby you could launch however.
