Beautiful park. Nice beach that is shallow and great for kids. Lots of activities with swings, slides and areas for family BBQs. A Huge pool and exercise area. Docks for boats. Amazing how they have this park up and running so fast after the hurricane.

We’ve been here for almost a week for swimming. The place is very beautiful, the pool is awesome. Very nice the little beach. Well organized and clean. Cheap the entrance.

Thought we'd stop in for snorkeling while the wind was up on the oceanside. Unfortunately, much of the area is severely damaged. Parking lots and facilities damaged and the beachfront. Spoke with a local dive shop operator who says the park is a great option...More

What fun to take in the Keys Fest event. The perfect weather added to an afternoon of looking at crafts and taking in the smells of the food vendors. This was our introduction to the Keys, and made a favorable impression!

My wife and we’re staying a few days in Islamorada. Decided to check out Founders Park and were surprised to find this gem hidden among the palms and mangroves. Strolled out onto the fishing jetty, then took in the beautiful boats at the marina. Hung...More

Really seems odd that you would have to pay to use a park.........coming from the Midwest that just does not seem right..............plenty of nice beaches that do not require an entry fee ............I would suggest checking them out ...........If you do end up back in...More

Was there today for Island Festival and thought this place looked like a nice facility with lots of great amenities. The amphitheater was probably my favorite. It looks like a great place to enjoy a nice outdoor show. We were at the beach to check...More
