I have been renting boats from A1A Watersprorts for years and they are really terrific. The boats are well maintained, the prices are fair and Oscar sets the tone for the entire staff providing A+ service. They will continue to be my go-to place for boat rental in the Islamoraa area!

We rented a 20’ deck boat recently and were very impressed with the professionalism of this company. They made sure that we understood the operation of the boat, that all safety equipment was on board and operating and that we knew how to navigate the area. Their six minute video tells you everything you need to know about hazards, sandbars, snorkeling and other places of interest to see. They provide a very detailed laminated map to help you get the most out of your day. The price was reasonable and we would definitely use them again.

Oscar and his crew at A1A make it possible to enjoy a great day on the water. They ensure you are familiar with your vessel, have needed safety equipment, a full tank of fuel,ice,etc. then guide you out from the dock. The crew is friendly and helpful. We have shared boat rentals from A1A with friends for several years now and have always had a good experience.

We did the jet ski 2 hour tour. I rode with my spouse but get your own rental. It would be easier. Do this tour. They are professional and you will have time to snorkel a reef a bit, jet ski, swim in a cove, and go thru some mangrove trees. We didn’t go to the sandbar because the weather was perfect and went a different route and viewed a row of toilet lids in the ocean. Different and interesting. Well worth the money.

Ask for Oscar. He is the manager is absolutely awesome. The staff will carry all your gear to the boat if you ask and then go over the boat and safety equipment in detail.

Oscar and the entire crew working were all so helpful and knowledgeable! Any questions we had we’re answered quickly, and in case we had more there is a hotline to call.
Before setting off there is a short and informative video on the ins and outs of navigating around the reef which helped greatly!
The boat we rented was clean and well maintained, with GPS and Bluetooth speakers, a full tank of gas and all the ice anyone could ever need in the on-board coolers.

This is the 3rd time we’ve rented a boat from A1A & we were extremely satisfied with our experience each time.
All of the staff are extremely helpful & thorough in their review of the boats and safety guidelines.

We had some friends that had recommended A1A Boat Rentals to us. We were hesitant to rent a boat but found our boat rental day to be a favorite while visiting the Keys. Our experience with Oscar and his team was exceptional and we were so pleased with the selection, the service and the ease of renting. We dream of owning our own ocean boat one day and Leo was helpful and knowledgeable about many of the boats - we know there are many opinions out there - we appreciated his input and helpfulness in choosing a boat that met our ideas and wants. So much fun and highly recommend this business!

Oscar and his team work tirelessly so that you may have a 5-Star experience and memorable week with your family or friends. Rental boats throughout the Keys are mostly older hulls, but Oscar keeps his Yamaha 4-stroke engines in great shape and has a broad selection of boats to choose from. The service is top notch. We have experienced only one minor engine issue in our times renting from A1A and it was addressed immediately. In 5 minutes we were back on the water. 5 STARS here.

I am partial to open bow speed boats myself and their jet boat could make it down to Islamorada without using up all of your time just getting their and back. Pontoons are a little rough on open water too, but to each their own.
