Beautiful trails and shoreline views. This is a great location for birding. The Marathon Wild Bird Center is also on the property and you can see the birds that are being rehabilitated up close. We were able to speak with the owner of the bird rehab center and learn the story of some of the individual birds. It was really,... More

This is a fascinating place with a great story to tell.......loved speaking with the gentleman in the shop who obviously has a great deal of knowledge about the place. Wear sneakers and try to go on a day that is on the cooler side for the best experience.

We were leaving Sombrero Beach one day and noticed this place across the street It is an amazing natural place full of history. We took the tram tour with Pam and she was very knowledgeable and it was a very interesting and scenic trip. We had a great day!

If you want to have a relaxing walk in the quietness of the Keys, this is the place. Admission is cheap and you can make it the adventure you want. There is plenty of shade for the hot days in the Keys. All the plant species are labeled as the tropical fauna envelopes you.

It still is beautiful to walk through there were still some flowers in bloom and a few butter flies. We had to take the walk through the hammock due to high water from the... More

We go to Marathon every year and are always looking for different things to do for a morning or afternoon. Last time we went to Crane Point. It was kind of a drizzly morning but that didn't really matter because there are so many trees there that the rain doesn't get you. Wonderful nature walks, a small museum, bird rescue... More
