This is a great beach. Accessible for free, good bathroom facilities and nice sand. The wind was strong during our visit so lots of grass but that's to be expected. There are many trees for shade as well.

We spent a few morning hours on the beach. Very few people and tucked away in a small residential area. Nice, clean park with outdoor showers and restrooms. Play area for small kids. Would visit again.

My husband and I stumbled upon Sombrero Beach. It is absolutely beautiful. It has a shaded park with a walking trail. Pets are welcome on leash in the park, on the beach and in the water. Plenty of poopy bag stations to clean up after...More

No rentals, it is a self-service public beach BYOC, however there is a K-Mart very close by in which you can purchase the items.

I only saw one person snorkling, however pigeon key was great and free to snorkel. The only cost was transportation (about 12 bucks per person-roundtrip), pack lunch, nice lady give history of the Flagler railroad and the... More
