We were to Paddle alongside the Seven Mile Bridge originally but due to the weather advisory at the time we were there unfortunately we were unable to make that Paddle. It us an extraordinary bridge, majestic and seven miles with shallow waters underneath, definitely worth a visit to ride or Paddle if your conditions are good.

The 7 Mile Bridge is currently closed (as of January, 2017) for repairs with no date for completion available. When this bridge is open it is a wonderful place to see the sunrise and sunset as well as for a nice walk of run. It provides a beautiful view of the water and surrounding islands.

If you have time stop at the end of the bridge. There is a small parking area and you can walk about a mile on part of the old bridge. It has some beautiful views of the ocean, fishes and birds. Our family stopped there for about hour saw all kinds of fish and even couple jelly fish.

what can you really say? its a seven mile bridge. unless you fly into key west airport, you'll drive across the bridge on your way to the lower keys. definitely worth going out of your way if you have the time.

Beautiful views of the bayside and the ocean. Nice drive and the traffic was at a minimum luckily. We came down this way after having lunch nearby. Take the time to pull off the road and stick your feet in the ocean. there is a nice little beach just after the bridge ends and you can get some great pics... More

Great experience - water on both sides, breathtaking views that seem endless and the amazing fresh air. We were there on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't busy, though I can imagine the parking being sparse during busy tourist seasons. Lots of fisherman and we lucked out by seeing one of them catch and reel in a small shark (yes,... More

The Seven Mile Bridge is amazing. Water on both sides, beautiful scenery; an engineering marvel. The bridge links Marathon to Big Pine Key and the lower Keys. Definitely worth the trip!

Few places in the world where you have this drive. it is a bit of the Caribbean but in the USA!! I am glad that it is only two lanes! makes traffic slower so you can take in the scenery!

Engineering marvel, gorgeous vistas, only way to get there...that's what the seven mile bridge is all about. It offers a great view of the water on either side and at the peak, it's worth another look each way. Besides, it's the only way by auto to get to Key West...take a drive.
