Genuine bit of wilderness, prepare to walk and watch.

I went alone and enjoyed the quiet peaceful environment. I did not get to see much wildlife like i thought i would. I will give it another try though.

The Preserve is a hidden gem. It is well maintained and a great place to get out in nature and enjoy a nice hike.

Firstly, don't get misled by the word Disney, there is nothing more un-Disneylike than this place..... not a Mickey to be see anywhere. It gets it's name because Disney had to pay to preserve and set-aside this place as an "offset" for all of their development elsewhere in Osceola county... so they do deserve creditof having their name on it... We did not see much and I am not sure how on a weekday anyone would say it was excellent. The only wildlife we saw were everyday birds and a millipede! Enjoyed our 3 mile hike but would have loved to see some wildlife. Great place to get away from all the parks and congestion and even though it has Disney in it's name, it is FREE!! You can do a 1 mile hike, a 3 mile hike or a 6 mile hike. Trails are very well marked. Very peaceful and... More

Rather disappointing since we saw almost no birds or any other wildlife. Also the trails were not that well marked. Since I have some mobility issues I appreciated the benches that were on the trail.
