I have gone camping at many Florida state parks, and I absolutely loved this one! This is the best campsite I have ever had. We were in site 60 because it was the last one available, and I truly believe it’s the best site there....More

Went here to fish although water level was somewhat low at this time and didn’t catch a thing I thoroughly enjoyed myself with friends and family. Quiet, clean and beautiful.

This is an exceptional state park. The habitat is in great shape due to frequent burning. The trails are a great example of flatwoods. The dock area, children’s play area and observation tower area has something for everyone.

Beautiful scenery. Lake Kissimmee is 35,000 acres. A lot of history as well as wildlife. Park is well maintained. Hiking trails and boat access as well as budget friendly camping.

we were hoping to walk around or by the lake but the park is not on the lake. It seems to be for boats - docks in the park connect to the lake via canals and rivers.

If you like getting back to nature then the park is worth a visit. It’s $5 per car to enter and once in you can follow the road into the park. There is plenty of parking for cars and trails to explore by foot. There...More

Trails are quite lengthy (miles). They are well maintained and little if any sand. There actually is a business that does segue tours (or was last time I went). Park office has maps of trails as well as detailed information... More
