My 3 grandsons had fun playing with the various exhibits. They absolutely loved the orange grove in the basement and spent over half their time playing there!! The 2nd favorite was the grocery store, they could stock groceries, buy groceries, scan and pretend to be checkout clerks! The only downside is the parking is hard to find a space and... More

Aimed at younger kids but still good for the big kid in all of us. On our last visit they had added some new attractions which helps to keep you coming back.

I don't think they could have done a better job with this children's museum. There are so many things to do, and our kids, ages 11, 8, and 1 all had a blast. There are lots of interactive and imaginative play stations, including an adorable grocery store and an Orange Grove/factory. This is a great rainy day thing to do,... More

I took my Grandaughter to this Museum and she had so much fun she did not want to leave. She loved being a cashier in a simulated Public grocery store and rung up groceries over and over again. This is a great place to spend a day.

This place is great! It is not much to look at on the outside, just a hole in the wall in historic downtown. But you are immediately taken away from any normalcy once you enter. Whether you are distracted by the miniature (nearly fully functional) Publix, or find yourself learning the process by which an orange goes from tree to... More

Kids loved this museum. The orange grove in the basement was their favorite. We anticipated staying only 2 hours because I've heard it was small. We had to pay for parking by the hour. We stayed 4 hours and I, of course, ended up with a parking citation. Come on City of Lakeland........get with the times and let people pay... More

We travelled from Orlando on Free Museum Day and thought it'd be nice to visit somewhere we've never been. So we decided to come here with some friends. This place is located in a very sweet downtown area that I would really like to come back and explore. It looked very promising when you come to the door (amazing mixed... More

Took my nephew and niece here when they were in town and they loved it. A lot of hands on things to experience.

They have numerous interactive exhibits set up for the kids to play with. Some of them are: theater, doctors office, a newsroom, a grocery store, a school room and an orange juice 'factory'. There is a cockpit of an airplane and a 'working' fire engine. All very clever ideas. There are other exhibits as well, but these are what come... More
