If you are curious about the history of the area you might enjoy this place. There are old homes and structures from back in the day, a mini museum with some artifacts that have been donated and a gift shop.

My family and I love strolling thru Heritage Village on temperate days. The buildings and old train car are very interesting to look at. We also are into photography and there is no shortage of subject matter here.

The point of places like this is to educate. Our children need places like this. But our school says no more field trips here, because they were made to feel some people that work there don't like children!

This is one of those surprise finds that become a highlight of a trip. The authenticity of the structures and the contence was remarkable. The history displayed and rich and informative. For a free venue it is superb.

The little village features houses from 100 years ago and there are volunteers who can tell you about the artifacts, the houses and the people who lived during that time. Best of all it has free admission.
