Peaceful, nice walk, well maintained and FREE. It was a nice day but not many tourists so you could really enjoy. Right next foo to Heritage Village also FREE.

Many original buildings from Pinellas County's historical past relocated to this park. A great view of Florida's early days with docents in many buildings to add information. No food but nice picnic areas. Great for all but requires a lot of walking. Interesting museum collections not associated with specific buildings. A free event, though they request a $5 donation -... Great little indoor and outdoor museum featuring exhibits about local history, live reenactment, a small library and gift shop. If you're bringing a child's stroller it might be difficult to navigate the OUTDOOR grounds because most of the trails are not paved. The ground is uneven with lots of pin needles and vegetation. I bit difficult to maneuver a child's... More

Free! Can get here across the parking lot from Florida Botanical Gardens! Much bigger than I expected! Lots of history! 2 working model T's, old firetruck, nice walking paths, small gift shop, restrooms. Was pleasantly surprised at what a nice place this is!

Pinellas has done much to keep and protect its green space and this has the added plus of including old structures that are part of the Pinellas history. There are tours of some of the homes and a museum. It is adjacent to the Botanical gardens and the visits can be combined.

My husband and I spent about 3 hours touring this fantastic "museum". Most of the buildings are self guided. The Seven Gables is toured on the hour and half hour. The volunteers are very knowledgeable about the history of the buildings, whether it be the general store, the train station or the fiber house. We loved the entire experience.

We planned on visiting the Botanical Garden and were pleasantly surprised to find the Heritage Village. The different buildings and exhibits were well presented and helped to tell the early history of Pinellas County. There was some renovations going on and new exhibits being prepared but there was still plenty to see. The pleasant March weather made this a very... More
