I love to visit the botanical gardens. The pros there help me with my plant problems, I get all sorts of ideas on what plants to get that will thrive in my yard and I love just to go there to enjoy the beauty.

We were looking for a place for some casual walking and found this charming Pinellas County park. Well-maintained, and lots of dedicated volunteers. Lots of Florida flora and fauna with great signage so you can learn a little something too.

Lots to look at here. I wish more plants were labeled. There a benches along a waterway that offers the opportunity for some interesting birdwatching.

Hi Lynn - here is some guidance Friendly dogs are welcome in the gardens as long as they are on a leash. Owners are required to supervise and clean up after their dogs. They are not allowed on boardwalks. Pinellas County... More

It's totally free....and if you have a chance/time/energy...go to the historical Florida buildings in the park next door to the Gardens. All of the homes & buildings have been moved from other locations throughout the state... More
