The "Pass", as locals refer to it, was created by a hurricane on September 27, 1848. A pirate, John Levique, made the first passage through the newly created pass. Hence the name, Johns Pass. Located on the waterfront at Johns Pass, this quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.

I enjoyed walking around the boardwalk, shopping at the fun stores and eating at some fun restaurants! Plenty to see here! The parking machines do take credit cards too and you can walk to the beach from here.

The boardwalk is a great place to look at some local shops and also to try some of the local small restaurants in the area, that all serve fresh fish. Very enjoyable in the evening

As all places parking expensive but well worth it. Lots of individual shops to look around. I bought unusual Christmas presents there. Lots of bars to have a drink on the boardwalk after watching the fishermen with their catch either packing them in ice for...More

We were out sightseeing and stop by this place. We ended up spending a couple hours here. It's a great location to hang out, shop, and eat. We had a great time and will definitely stop by again if we are in the area.

We visited Treasure Island to celebrate our anniversary and Thanksgiving. While there we visited John's Pass. We travel frequently and enjoy being tourists. John's Pass has pretty much a cookie cutter resemblance to many other tourist areas such those in Savannah, Daytona Beach, International Drive...More
