It's a beautiful beach, but difficult to walk due to the amount of shells that are mixed in with the sand. Gentle surf, as most of the gulf coast.

Marco Island's South Beach is the best beach on the island! Large beach with lots of room and some of the most spectacular sunsets I have ever seen.

We were visiting in Naples for a couple of days, but decided to come to Marco for the beach, because we heard it would be nicer, and less crowded as well. Beautiful spot!! Easy access to parking (right across the street), and the beach had...More

There is parking available across the road for $8.00 but parking spaces are limited. The sand is fine white and feels so good under the feet. Was there August 8, 2017

If you are using Public Access , probably back to car and nearest gas station. I doubt you can walk into a nearby hotel restroom.
