This was a fun adventure through the mangroves surrounding Marco Island. We did see many Dolphins. The guide was nice. The small boats are not very comfortable and loud. So although it is a unique adventure I would prefer to do this on a jet ski or in a real boat.

A good way to see some of the Ten Thousand Islands. The boats are a blast. They are easy to operate, fun to ride in, and can go really fast. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Got to see lots of dolphins up close (even under and beside the boats) and lots of birds, but unfortunately no manatees. A great... More

This outing may seem a bit expensive, but is well worth the money. It will take just a few minutes to get used to driving the boat, but when you hit full speed you will be thrilled. Then, when you see manatees and dolphins as you sit just a few inches off the water you will be in paradise. Take... More

My wife and I participated in a tour with Backwater Adventure on 15th Sept 2016 and had a blast. Our tour guide Jason was helpful and knowledgeable taking us to a couple of Keys and showing us dolphins. The Craig Cats were fun and easy to drive, it's a great way to see around the 10,000 Islands, the scenery is... More

This was so much fun. The boats are easy to handle, the tour took us all over the place & we saw so many different birds & dolphins! We happened to be the only couple booked for the tour so really had a great time & the guide's full attention. He made sure we were always ok & pointed out... More

We loved this tour of the 10,000 islands. Our guide was awesome and he fit us in last minute on his day off so it was just us in our 2 boats and him. So it was basically a private tour. These little boats are so much fun. We saw dolphin and the tail of a manatee. The small island... More

Would thoroughly recommend this trip. We did the 3 hour tour with our 14 and 12 year old. We all had a great trip seeing a number of different wildlife. Although not the cheapest trip we have been on it was definitely one of the more memorable. Definitely should do if you visit this area.

My wife and I took the adventure on August 10th. We had a great time riding the Craigcat. Very steady craft, even at the top speed (I think they said 30 MPH). Would have liked to see more dolphins, especially up close. No manatees on this trip, some birds. Ride was the best part. The island we stopped at was... More
