Lovegrove Gallery & Gardens is the international headquarters for...

Lovegrove Gallery & Gardens is the international headquarters for Florida artist, Leoma Lovegrove and one of the most colorful destinations in the sunshine state. The gallery showcases Lovegrove's original art and it is here where you can step into her techinicolor world of tropical artistic flair and experience the authentic island style life of an artist. Paint your own Florida souviner in her world famous botanical waterfront gardens (Paint and brushes included). Or paint your very own coconut postcard to keep or mail back home (no box needed- mails as is). You can also paint your own painting in the garden with the help of Vino's Picasso (Seasonal Nov-April). You can also enjoy homemade ( "Love Boat Ice Cream")ice-cream right out of a real coconut shell and guess what? You can keep the shell and take it back home to remind you of the happy memories you made while visiting one of Florida's most popular historic landmarks and destinations. Sunday's with Tucke, (Jim Tucke, the musical genius and Beatles historian) begin in December and her performs every Sunday through March. Hours for the live music is 2 pm - 5 pm. The event is FREE. Leoma's private studio and guest cottage is adjacet to the gallery so chances are you see Leoma busy painting a canvas or planting a flower or beating on her drum on the garden stage.

I used to take everyone that visited us to this gallery. It was fun, lively, imaginative, and you could get a little piece of art for a reasonable price. Then the presidential election happened and oh my, how it's changed! Now you walk in and get slammed by pro Trump propaganda and rah rah, USA! My last guest turned on... More

Matlacha is a GEM for one thing!!! Lovegrove Gallery is a happy wonderful colorful imaginative spot! Leoma showed myself and my friend around the shop and made us a cup of tea. The musical inspirations were glorious! From the Beatles to Sonny and Cher to Disney songs brought to life in the paintings was breathtaking! Bought 5 paintings and she... More

This is a beautiful gallery. If you are a fan of Leoma Lovegrove you must visit her gallery. There is an outdoor space as well with many different art and craft events going on.

Somehow I can't wrap my head around John Lennon's poetry and imagery being displayed in an ardently Trump supporting gallery! He would not be happy!

Have seen her clothes and thought the gallery would be interesting. However, walking into blatant Trump politics with art pieces having John Lennon's words of piece seemed hypocritical to me. Couldn't understand it and see no need for politics to be involved. Won't ever buy her merchandise and urge people to consider the message she is giving!

Traveling to Matlacha is like being transported to someplace totally new. The town is a happy place brilliantly painted in vivid colors. The epicenter of this brilliance is the Lovegrove Gallery and Gardens. See the gallery but don't miss the garden. It is a piece of imagination by Leoma Lovegrove that you will never forget. A fantasy place full of... More

My wife loves her designs on cloths so we thought we'd go to her studio.Politics should not be the first thing you see at a gallery. It really bothered us and we won't buy her stuff anymore. FYI I am a multiple wounded veteran so it doesn't have to do with patriotism just poor taste on her part making politics... More

If your lucky, you can find the artist present-a very "colorful" character. Don't miss exploring the paintings and sculptures in the back yard. A good place to find unusual, reasonably priced gifts. This was our second trip to this shop-it's a "must -see"

Thank Denise K
