This is the perfect girls night spot! There was 4 bachelorette parties going on the Sunday night I stopped in to visit Lara, my go to bartender. They have shots served out of a d*ck, funny hats to take pictures with, flaming and layered drinks, food, hookah, games, TVs everywhere, a huge covered dance floor outside, two rooms with different genres of music playing. They have signs in the bathroom reminding you to double check you have your phone and to let management know if you lost your friends or need help getting an Uber, that “they got you” <3

Thanks for the thorough and great review! We love being the go-to spot for a great girls night out in Wynwood. Our props and friendly staff make a night at SHOTS unlike any place else. We're glad Lara takes such great care of you each time you visit. We look forward to doing some more SHOTS with you again soon!

Arrived about 10pm on Friday night, no line, not too many people there. No cover. There is an indoor area with DJ and outdoor area with DJ. Wish the indoor area was bigger though, because at midnight it was way too packed and we left by 1am only because of that. Outdoor area it's just too hot to dance in. Shots were good prices for Miami--did some special that was $5/ea. They add in 18% gratuity here, as a lot of Miami does. Liquor was light in drinks. Music was Spanish/throwbacks/Drake, pretty much exclusively, which was good with us. Wouldn't recommend walking too far in the area--just call a car. For Miami it was a good experience / cost efficient and a good time.

Thanks for the review! The weekends are definitely packed towards the late night. If you want more room on the dance floor we recommend a weekday night. Thanks for joining us, we always love a new visitor!

Half outdoor half indoor with my type of music (hip hop and Latin). Def played a lot of new hits with a mix of old. Liked that we can juggle between areas depending on what we wanted to listen to. The Latin area did get a little cramped but that is expected. I paid $10 cover with a free drink of my choice. Will visit again!!

My 26 year old daughter and I came to see about the night scene it was too immature and young for me people drinking and not handling their liquor because their too young to. But the security was good and the music was good

Thanks for the review! We tend to be a younger spot on the weekends. If you are looking for an older crowd try our Karaoke night on Wednesdays. We take it back to the classics

Getting into this place was awful. My friends and I moved from various places to go to school at FIU. We are all phd students and all 24 and older. The bouncers not only wouldn’t let my friend in who was from Idaho, but were real jerks to her. They claimed it was fake and they had a book of national IDs to prove it. She kindly asked them to pull it out, assuring them her ID was real. They refused. One bouncer was doubtful, but the other was just plain rude. They wouldn’t even google what an Idaho ID looks like. They were blatantly sexist in that they were rude to my friend who was being nice, but when my boyfriend got angry and demanded they check her and his ID (from Tennessee) with their “book” they all of a sudden backed off. There was no “book.” Thy had the pens that check for the seals on the IDs, and hers clearly had them. One bouncer apologized and said “Sorry, we get a lot of fakes.” The jerk one told her “well hopefully you’ve learned to be more respectful,” with no apology. She was never rude. If anything my boyfriend called him out, but they didn’t harass him. Her standing up for herself is the only thing that got her taken seriously. In a multicultural, touristy place like Miami, it’s your job to know what real IDs from multiple places look like. More than that, don’t be a jerk to your customers.

From start to finish this place was amazing!!
Security seemed strict at the front door checking purses and patting people down. But they explained to us how it's the best thing they can do to keep everyone safe. Makes sense to me in the day age.
The hostess and hookah girl at the front greeted us and offered us a hookah and a VIP table. We passed and went to the bars where the awesomeness was taking place!!
Bartenders were flaring, shots were getting lit on fire, and people were drinking out of penis funnels...enough said!! We after a night of drinking and dancing, we munched out on some amazing sliders and called it a night.
Best bar I've ever been to. I'm actually interested in opening up a franchise with them now!!

Shots has a huge menu of every type of shot you can think - many of which are delicious. You can also turn a shot into a drink, which I often did with the Sour Skittles.
This isn’t a place I’d come and hang out all night, but we often started a night out in Wynwood here during their happy hour (1/2 off Saturday!).

Thanks for the review! SHOTS is definitely a great pregame spot. It's the only place in Wynwood to get drinks starting at $3 during Happy Hour!

Shay was amazing! I had to find a good place to throw a birthday party for a friend, I simply DM'd them on Instagram, and was catered to quickly! Their bottle selection is pretty nice, and they set up a custom little package for me, I had a table right by the DJ booth, and the music was fire! I'll be back!

There aren't any recommended hotels in walking distance. There are some great hotels in the nearby Brickell area. If you stay there you can download the Freebee app to get free rides to our location!
