Currently have a Pterosaurs exhibit which mesmerized adults & kids. Beautiful exhibits and views of Biscayne Bay. Don’t forget the animal exhibits on 4th floor!!

Fun Afternoon Activity
Apr 2021 • Couples
Enjoyable raining afternoon activity for us to spend some time. I’m a big fan of aquariums and this one was sufficient. The planetarium shows were sold out so get to those early! Surprisingly good food at the cafe as well!

Great time
Feb 2021 • Solo
I stopped by for a few hours, because my flight was delayed to an evening flight. I had a great time and they even held on to my luggage leaving me to fully enjoy my experience. It wasn’t crowded when I went on a Thursday. I enjoyed the show in the planetarium and all the exhibits. They also had a nice cafeteria that wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be.

Okay for a rainy day
Feb 2021
We had fun. But it was more childish than adult like. It was good for a rainy day. Kind of dirty. Just a small museum

So happy to have this museum in Miami
Feb 2020 • Family
Excellent interactive center great for families and all ages. Book the shows online ahead of time. Come early to find parking. We always come at the opening. It is also less crowded in the morning.

Too expensive for what you get
Oct 2020
For two people including parking, this costs almost $75. There are 6 floors which look impressive, except that the top floor is just a lookout, floor 5 is admin offices, and the bottom 4 floors are the exhibits. We felt like this was geared for children and wasn't all that impressive for adults. You can only look at a shark swim around for so long. We would not recommend this for adults due to the high cost to see a very small amount of 'neat' stuff.

Great for kids and adults
Aug 2020
My daughter had a great time here and we did too. A great family experience and a reasonable price too It’s essentially a combination of a science museum, a kids museum, and an aquarium.

Is there a coat/baggage check? We would be coming from a cruise and would like to visit the Museum before going to the airport, so we'll have our all of luggage with us.

Yes, there was one downstairs as you enter when we visited a couple or months ago. I am not sure if there are policies regarding size and number of items to be checked in.

Are you allowed to bring a water bottle or packaged snacks into the museum?

Miami, FL159 contributions
Hello,
Yes you may bring water bottles and snacks. One good option we had was, getting there early a finding parking inside Museum Park (these are very limited) parking is directly right as soon as you get to the museum.
We left the snacks in the car and had a picnic at the park. Your ticket allows you re-entry into the museum. The kids ended up having more fun running around the park than the museum.

What sort of exhibits with sharks are there?

They have a large tank that can be viewed both from the surface and from a viewing area underneath. In the viewing area underneath, there are also other interactive exhibits related to sharks

Suerte!!
