First visit to Miami and we walked for several blocks to get to a good spot for lunch. On our way back we stumbled into the Metromover. What a great free way to get acclimated to the city! It’s free and stops everywhere! Quick, clean...More

We stayed at the Conrad Miami which is across the road from the Financial District station. This gave us free and easy access to Downtown Miami. We most commonly used it to reach the Bayside Centre for eating and also the Big Bus Tour of...More

Great free access to Downtown Miami and links to Metrobus and Metrorail to get further afield. Basically a monorail with three different circuits.

I stayed in Brickell Downtown Miami for a couple of days and used the MMO to get around. I travelled mid morning and mid afternoon and found it to be safe, efficient and free! As a visitor unfamiliar with the system I got caught out...More

We were fortunate to stay close to a Metromover stop. Just hop on . No charge. Makes a complete loop around the entire downtown Miami.

Everywhere I go, I try to use public transportation if it’s possible and avoid using taxi. Since I usually stay at hotels in airport area in Miami, this is the cheapest way to go around. Metromover works only in downtown area and its free. Also...More

It’s easy to get on and off. Cheap and clean. The only drawback is the routes. Take some time to get aquatinted before the train departs.

Well we stayed across the street from the last stop in the Miami business district. We found this free Metromover. It was excellent and we used it everyday to go around the loop. One stop to the Riverfront where you can go for a nice...More

The Metromover is an absolute great way to get around the Downtown area. We decided to use it to explore, and we got off at multiple stops and walked around discovering things that we usually drive by. Highly Recommend.

Your best best is asking someone that lives in the area or look on map-quest.

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami Brickell Downtown. Just have to walk half a block. You'll be close to the metromover and the trolley. Two good options to explore the city.
