At Tigertails we specialize in small guided airboat tours. We operate in the southern end of the Everglades on Tamiami trail in the Miccosukee reservation near Miami. You will experience the Everglades first hand as you handle young alligators and turtles while learning about the wildlife, the area and the proud people who live here from one of our experienced guides.

A very small company just before you reach Shark Valley from the east. A nice 10 minutes airboat ride to one of the Hammock Islands. There we got an interesting briefing about wildlife in the ENP and the problems this park encounters.

We were on an hour long trip with two children age 6 and 8. It was amazing and we saw a lot of gators.

We stopped by in person and called not once but twice to confirm the details of our 9-person tour and agreed on a price. Unfortunately, when we showed up the price had mysteriously increased (like $495 wasn't enough already!) so be sure to get any advance arrangements down in writing! They also offerred a couple 'extras' that they didn't produce... More

We were looking for a quick stop and had never been on an Airboat ride before. We had my 85 year old Aunt with us and I am can not take a rough boat ride myself. After explaining the situation to the people there we decided to take the 45 minute boat ride/island stop. We were not dissapointed. The ride... More

I have always wanted to take an airboat tour and so glad we selected Tigertail! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the land, the history of the area and the indigenous people. We chose the 2 hour tour and enjoyed every minute of it! We saw many gators during our tour and stopped to pet the baby gators and see... More

My wife and I had an airboat tour with Tigertail this past week and could not have been more pleased! We had a private tour which did not cost much more than a group one and it was nice to go at our own pace and ask all of the questions we wanted at each stop. Bert was our guide... More

We chose the two hour, private tour and John was our guide. His family had been here for several generations and he was so full of interesting information! He tried very hard to find gators for us to see but the cold weather made them hide. He did call one guy out from under the lily pads.. with an interesting... More
