Totally new part of the city. Full of high brands shops. Clean and organised. Good restaurants as well. An excellent alternative to Brickell area, in fact, in my own opinion, the Design District is becoming something better than any other part of Miami for visitors.
The fun at MDD doesn't stop with luxury retail, the restaurants and bars are what make it worth it. Stop in Michaels Genuine for old Florida cuisine or Kaido for a one-of-a-kind Japanese Bar with small plates by famed Chef Brand Kilgore and world-renowned Bartender...More
This is a must visit in Miami, there is something for everybody. All the Brands LV, Gucci, Fendi, Givenchy in addition to a big assortment of restaurants, Yoga Studio, Skate Parks, some concerts on Friday and very nice and scenic pictures to remember.

Absolutely. I think shopping is the best solo:) no one is nagging you to hurry up. Also the bars and restaurants around are perfect to stop by get a glass of wine and check the balance on your credit card. Enjoy

I don’t think there is much to do at night here. It’s basically a street with high end retail. But you can go close to there. Midtown has a lot of cool solo spots as does Brickell. Both are very close to the design district.
