About
The Miami Design District is a neighborhood dedicated to innovative fashion, design, architecture and dining experiences. The vision for a rejuvenated Design District was codified in an urban master plan developed by the award-winning master planners Duany Plater-Zyberk, with the additional participation of architects including Walter Chatham, Hariri and Hariri, Juan Lezcano, Terence Riley, and Alison Spear. The Miami Design District embodies a singular dedication to the unity of design, fashion, art and architecture, and a commitment to encourage a neighborhood comprised of creative experiences.

    Miami Design District was an absolute blast! If you're looking for a trendy, upscale shopping and dining destination, this is the place to be. The streets are lined with designer boutiques, art galleries and high-end restaurants. It's the perfect spot to spend a day if you're looking to treat yourself or if you're looking for a unique gift for someone special. If you're in Miami, make sure to check it out!

    Beautiful Architecture
    We enjoyed walking around and looking at all the cool architecture and sculptures. In addition to high-end stores, there are lots of restaurants and bars. Even if you don't like shopping, it's worth just spending an hour or two walking around.

    For the street art,excellent cafe's and shaded spots to sit and relax, this area of Miami gets top marks from me. 100 Stars! Love the vibe here...it is fun and creative and youthful. Excellent young crowds hang here, along with serious shoppers, tourists, amusing self absorbed selfie-taking stepford types, and some other fun and seriously interesting people to watch. A lot of places for shopping!

For the street art,excellent cafe's and shaded spots to sit and relax, this area of Miami gets top marks from me. 100 Stars! Love the vibe here...it is fun and creative and youthful. Excellent young crowds hang here, along with serious shoppers, tourists, amusing self absorbed selfie-taking stepford types, and some other fun and seriously interesting people to watch. A lot of places for shopping!

It's a nice place that you can go for a walk and see around. it has pretty place to take picture and its free! Easy to find, we took the bus to get there.

The Miami money pit

Miami is a money pit. Restaurants charge about a 20% service charge to all customers. This after paying for an already hiked food and beverages price. Customers are charged too much to eat and drink AND also have to pay for their labor costs. INSUlTING! This equals more profit for the business while the customer is screwed. Traveler’s should avoid Miami until they start respecting their customers instead if just ripping them off. Eat outside of the tourist district, or ask if they charge a service fee. If they, do walk out so they know why the are not getting your business. You have a choice, pay abnormally high prices while the employers rake in your money or refuse to eat at their restaurants and teach them to appreciate your business.

High brand boutiques and contemporary arts are collaborated in small blocks.
You can enjoy shopping and art scene at one instance.
I’ m not a shopping person but I also enjoyed to take a look high brand boutiques as window shopping.
Contemporary arts are amazing. If you’re art enthusiast, you must visit here.

Manager didn't honor sale price

I keep pens for a long time - last one I bought I had 25 years. I bought a pen for more than $400.00 from the Miami location. It was defective and I sent it beck. They no longer made that version, I had bought the last one.
The Sales person was very helpful and tried to find one that was a suitable replacement that would match the mechanical pencil that came with it. We found one and it was on sale for less than $300. The sales person put it aside while they traveled for 3 days.
When she came back, the sale had been taken down and the manager would not honor the sale price because neither the sales person nor I had taken a screen shot of it.
The manager would not take the sales person's word.
I don'r recommend this location.

On foot - the Miami Design District

My teen son and I spent a couple of hours in the area walking around. It was a fun vibe for exploring, with plenty of shops, art in the wild, and snack options. It's worth taking in!

perfect luxury shopping place, nice bistro with vegan food, cute squares and colorful streets, only one negative point is that it is not a nice walk to get there so taxi is a must

Luxury walk out

Nice walk outdoors.. and somewhat indoors.. You'll find Luxury and known higend designers stores like Prada, Chanel, Yves Laurent, Gucci, Valentino, Dolce, Laboutin, Burberry, Tag, Fendi, Ferragamo, Cartier, Tesla... Very well organize.. A few restaurants around and parking.
