The main street in South Beach (SoBe) running parallel to the Ocean, with lots of hotels , bars and restaurants. Whatever you want your sure to find it. Restaurants tend to be on the expensive side compared with others located away from this scene.

To elak up and down and look at all nice buildings that are renovated and i one end you get into the Art deco district and in the other directions you get to the fantastic Fountainbleu, really nice here and the attitude is relaxed

I would not make an effort to go to Miamj Beach to see Colljns avenue. It's a busy street that goes along the whole coast line. Its fine for a good walk though and has plenty of restaurants /bars along it.

We didn't rent a car on this occasion but did note that overnight parking at our hotel carpark on South Beach was $35 and even more at some other hotels - but then we're Brits and to us (Post Brexit) everything in Miami and... More

No reason to worry- at least not at daytime and during night time I would try to have company. Other than that, I personal would not be worried at all. It is the party zone and you may meet some unusual people. However... More

There are affordable restaurants in the area. I'd check with your hotel concierge for suggestions on restaurants within walking distance that are in your price range.
