We are a small Garden, just 2.6 acres, with a very big mission! We call ourselves an urban oasis in the middle of the glitz and neon of South Beach, a place where locals and visitors can come and enjoy the numerous cultural and artisitic programs that the Garden has to offer. Created as a Miami Beach city park in 1962, the Garden was rejuvenated in the fall of 2011 with a $1.2 Million landscape renovation by acclaimed South Florida landscape architect Raymond Jungles. We invite you to discover the new features of the Garden – a wetland with red mangrove and pond apple trees, an expansive water garden with cascading oolite fountain, a welcoming entrance plaza, and diverse collection of flowering trees, palms, cycads, orchids, bromeliads and Florida native species.

This is one of the better botanical gardens I've visited, very gracious, great shade, a well planned space. The wildlife was abundant and natural... we also came here at night for an event and they had lights and plenty of seating for people. Very nice!

Perhaps the lunch venue was set up just because Art Basel and Design Miami were next door, but I hope not because the lunch was really good and sitting in the midst of the gardens under an umbrella to ward off the heavy sun was a delight. The gardens did not seem to be very extensive so you can spend... More

This Botanical garden is well maintained. It is not so big. There's a shop and restrooms. We saw beautifull butterflies and gekko's.

The place is quite small but is well designed with an interesting guided tour that you can follow on your cellphone. I wouldn't plan on more than an hour there unless you bring along a picnic or a ball for the kids to play with.

We found this place by accident, and it was worth it. smaller than most, which makes it more personal and romantic. My wife taught me a lot about plants i have never heard of
