The best way to experience this is on foot. Some of the buildings are amazing. Plan to stay for at least a few hours, if not the whole day.

LOTS of historic buildings and movies made in the area. Everyone should visit MIAMI at least once to experience all the reasons folks keep coming back and most end up moving here.

Miami is known for it's art deco, and walking around in the south end of Miami Beach is a good way to experience that aspect of the city.

The kids loved all the selfie‘s in front of really cool and talented art work. Personally, I don’t care for all the prep that goes into a Selfies for teenagers

We stayed in this area and it was great to see the Art Deco buildings in all of their pastel shades standing adjacent to Miami Beach. Many of them have been modernised inside but still retain the old world charm. It is a shame, however,...More

To move around Miami beach and the Art Deco district, I agree, use the free shuttle. If you arrive by car and want it parked without having to worry, use one of many municipal parkings at 20$ a day maximum. Note that under... More
