We went to the Colony Theater in the Lincoln Road Mall by Lenox Avenue. It is a beautiful updated vintage theater. The seats are comfortable and the acoustics are excellent. We saw a live performance of "A Special Day." The play was very moving, dramatic, romantic, funny, and suspenseful. It occurs in Italy, 1938, when Hitler visited Rome to solidify... More

Great "vintage" theater to enjoy any play showing at any time. It is a small (around 400 seats) venue with stadium seating. Any where you seat you will ave an excellent view. I prefer to seat in the orquestra center less than 10 rows from the stage. Do not arrive late. They start their performances on time. Nicely located on... More

Went to see the new ahow Terror, and my friends, family and I loved it. Since the Colony has been under new management they have come up with great shows. I will probably go see Terror again, but I can't wait to see what their new production will be after this one!

We saw the Golam of Havana at this theater and the seats are preety good from almost everywhere. It is a small theater so buy tickets in advance. It is located right on Lincoln road so you can walk around, shop and eat before or after show. Very nice!

Very nice, small theater. Great vibe, comfortable seat, though not too wide. The bar is not really a bar, just a tiny counter. But there are plenty of bars on either side. We saw "The Golem of Havana", great venue for that show. The theater is part of Miami Beach history, before it was trendy. I highly recommend going to... More

This is a lovely little theater in the heart of Miami Beach but other than having a retro look and feel to it there is nothing extraordinarily special about this place. It is a good spot to stop and take a few Photos of it.

Most of the shows we have seen here have been like an Amateur Hour performance, low budget and low talent. A French revue had 4 or 5 performers of dubitable quality. An opera performance featured a motley chorus that was mostly offkey. Of course, it's inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for.
