We were so fortunate to see Balazs Havasi play the piano here. It is a rare opportunity to see a great performer like Havasi in such an intimate setting. The building is spectacular and the rooftop provides beautiful and romantic views before a concert. This is a one of a kind performance hall - the setup, lighting, and sound are... More

The New World Center is an architectural gem on Miami Beach--inside and outside. The concerts are high caliber and the fact that these are all accomplished students makes them even more impressive. Check out the Concerts for kids and the Friday evening concernts!

I attend a concert here as often as I visit S Beach. Nothing has been bad, almost everything has been great to wonderful. I love the setting, the park, the building, the theatre, and they give young people a chance to shine as much as possible. I've heard and seen some very wonderful music made here.

If you love classical music, if you want to be introduced to it, this is the orchestra to enjoy. They offer a range of concerts and prices. The Musical Exchanges are a good deal - concerts often of small ensembles organized by the musicians themselves. The few times a season that they offer a wall cast is also great -... More

Every year for my holidays I spend some time in this beautiful city. The New World Symphony design by Frank Gehry is a place that I visit and visit again. 1. Try to get a ticket. This is a school orchestra. Then it is a different experience. 2. Walk around the building 3. Visit the terrace the view from the... More

Extraordinary building (Garry). Extraordinary acoustics. Extraordinary musicianship. Check out their wall cast offering and don't spend a fine. A true highlight of Miami Beach.

The New World Symphony offers world-class classical and sometimes other music. The Frank Gehry building provides excellent acoustics to enjoy the music. Don't miss the rooftop garden before the concert or during intermission. Lots of nearby places to eat on Lincoln Rd. Give yourself ample time to find parking; if there's another event in the area, it can be hard... More

Building is gorgeous and view from the rooftop amazing. Just the view worths the $5. I did the tour (group of 4) for one hour and it was great to learn about the architecture and the symphony. Definitely recommend this tour.

Located in a modern designed park, it is a place to visit. The building is very modern and nice, including a rooftop garden. If you have a chance to take a look inside it is a must.

If you find yourself visiting Miami during the college-season academic year, seriously consider visiting the New World Symphony for a performance. The school provides fellows with a year of creative instruction and collaboration in an amazingly beautiful Frank Gehry building. Tickets are very reasonable and there's not a bad seat in the house, either visually or acoustically. As well, the... More
