Mount Ararat is in eastern Turkey. Its summit is 5137m and is snow-cover all year. Climbing permits and a licensed guide are required to climb. The standard trek is 3 nights on Ararat, including acclimatization. The climbing season is June-September. June can be rainy. July and August are best. Spring skiing is in March and April. we took a tour to Garni with Hyur Service and we stopped on the way to take pictures of Mt. Ararat ! What a beautiful mountain !

It is closed to climb it and when it opens back I am going to do it. Still it is an magnificent mountain.

Amazing mountain. Since it is banned by the government I was not able climb it but when the band is lifted I would like to take this magnificent mountain on!

There is no forest in that area, only rare trees

Mount Ararat is in military area. So, bcs of this reason you may need to have permission for have tour on Ararat Mountain. We can optain permits for you in a month. For this you need to send us first page of your passport scanned copy.
