The pier has wonderful view and walk out into the gulf. There is washrooms there as well. Parking machines take only quarters so beware and be prepared.

Even though the hurricane damaged the 2 1/2 of the bridge, the first is still just as wonderful to walk on.

Beautiful and wonderful walk on a Sunday afternoon with my husband. The air was warm but breeze. We were able to walk almost to the end of the pier and take lovely pictures of the shore and enjoy the majestic golf water. You can also...More

Nice pier with cheap parking nearby. Great access for beach too. Part of pier currently been fixed up after hurricane Irma. Well worth a look.

Due to hurricane danage half the pier was closed. However there was a snack bar and toilet facilities. Spent An hour or so watching the fishermen. Nice way to chill out in the afternoon.

We visited in November 2017 and half of the pier was closed presumably owing to storm damage after the hurricane. From the pier it is very likely that you will see dolphins fairly close to the pier.

Have visited the pier several times before on previous vacations. It's a local icon with great views. Pity it's still under repair after hurricane Irma though am sure it'll be back to its usual great self soon.

Parking at the pier area is limited and requires payment. It is all electronic and easy. Now, finding a spot can be difficult between November and April. I would suggest getting there 2 hours before sunset and be prepared to... More
