We drove out bikes to the park to visit. Parking for cars is $10. They have walkway's to get to the different areas of the park. I think they should let dogs on leashes on these walkways. Some of us are responsible pet owners.

The beach is great for finding large shells, riding a golf cart and finding gopher turtles. There was a nice walkway even though they were doing construction on some parts.

We really enjoyed looking for shells. I think my kids got about 3 pounds to bring home. Monday afternoon and we had the place to ourselves. We were not at the dog park area so no complaints on that side of business.

My dog just loves this place. She is able to run to her hearts content. The lighthouse is a picture perfect spot. The recently finished boardwalk is very nice.

We've been going to New Smyrna Beach for several years. We fell in love with the location because it's everything Daytona Beach isn't just across Ponce Inlet with its picturesque lighthouse -- not commercialized and heavy with tourists. Most of the fun things about NSB...More

People at gate are always friendly and helpful! Nice especially when you're there when they open early. Like the walkway, dunes, and various places to venture to. Only negative - need more parking spaces.

The boardwalk to under construction so take a picture of the map with the construction marked so you know where you can pick up the boardwalk again. Take water with you because it can be a long walk. Very nice views. Lots of dogs.

Very nice area to walk out and seen the scenery. Be prepared to walk a lot. Part of the boardwalk was under construction when we were there but you could still walk out to the beach. Park staff were very helpful when we saw them...More

Don't think you can use it. But, after 5 p.m. the park is free. If you are staying for more than 2 days and want to go with the dogs during the day. Buy the pass. You can go in and out of the park as many times during the... More

Unfortunately, the boardwalk is not continuous. There is a short stretch between the doggie beach boardwalk and the boardwalk from the parking lot that crosses the sandy foot path. A distance, I'd guess, of 25-30 feet.
