- Eleanor JCounty Durham, United Kingdom7 contributionsGreat day out for grandparents and little onesWe had a wonderful day out with our 18 month old grandson. He loved the animals and we met the owner feeding them. He was so friendly and told us all about the animals and showed our grandson some of the baby ones. The animals were all friendly and well looked after. We loved the play barn. There was a small bouncy castle ideal for our little one and a roomy space for younger ones. He spent ages playing in the houses and climbing on the slides. The cafe was great and there were good baby changing facilities. We had a very nice lunch too. Everyone was so friendly and I think a Fantesy Farm visit will become a regular grandparents day out!Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten 10 February 2024
- imcd39Aberystwyth, United Kingdom2 contributionsFamily farm for familiesWe took our two grandchildren ( a seven and a three year old) on Wednesday the 17th of July. It was a dry day. The schools had not broken up, so it was fairly quiet. There were young families (with push chairs) and some teenagers. We arrived just before 12 noon. We went on a tractor ride first and then fed the sheep, goats, horses and rabbits. Both kids were shown by the young lady assistant how to do this. The feed was a a cheap buy. Washing hands was easy and we had lunch. That was a cheap buy as well. In the afternoon we went to the indoor bouncy castle. Then outside to play crazy golf and had a cheap ice-cream. There was a lake with boats, a race track with cars and all other sorts of bikes. All in all it was a cheap day out with lots to do. It was nice to go to a family farm park with nice local staff. For cheap read this as reasonable and there was not a corporate air about it at all, it was the family feel that came through.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 23 July 2024
- Jerry-raffAmmanford, United Kingdom216 contributionsGreat little findGreat way to spend a couple of hours. It can get expensive though between food for animals at £1.50, £4 for go karts and £2 for bucking bronco on top of entry fee. Lovely tractor ride to see the sheep amd cows and lovely to be able to meet and greet animals and handle some of them. Plenty to do for little ones - soft play, bouncy castle, animal petting, swings, tractor ride, crazy golf, pedal boats and overall good valueVisited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 10 August 2024

A good day out with the kids. Felt maybe slightly overpriced especially when we walked in, were worried it would be an expensive hour but actually really enjoyed a good few hours here. Used all the facilities and activities. Kids loved the go karts, park and golf. Think with a small amount of upgrading this has the potential to be a great day out with limited options when it’s not beach weather in the area. Also lots of sanitiser etc so felt Covid safe

After reading some of the reviews before going i was a little bit apprehensive about going but i found that some of them are very unjust!
I'll start off with the price as it does come across as a little bit expensive but I know how much it costs to keep 2 dogs so I dread to think how much it costs to keep farm animals.
The animals there are loving life they love to be petted and a more than willing to eat the food you can buy in the shop to feed them. The rabbits loved all the fuss from my children.
On top of the whole farm experience there's also a park, a nature walk, pedal boats and boat swings. For a small fee you can also go on the go karts which the kids loved and thought they were "super fast". There's also bumper boats and an indoor play area which are closed at the moment due to covid19 hopefully they will reopen soon.
We spent 5 hours here in the sunshine and loved it, hopefully we'll be back again soon!

On arrival we all thought oh dear, how on earth are we going to spend a full day here? On the outset looked a little run down.
But turns out it’s awesome!
The farmers barn was insane, so much going on, feeding baby lambs, holding animals was ace! The staff very friendly, the activities are good old fashioned fun, the kids had a great time.
But the best bit was meeting the farm dog timber fallowed us around all day
Highly recommend this place

We had a great time, spending about 4 1/2 hours at the farm with the kids! When we arrived I didn’t think we’d manage more than 90 minutes but there was plenty to keep everyone entertained and engaged.
We did the tractor ride twice, spent ages in the farmers barn, rode the pedalo’s and took the short walk in the woods. I would suggest taking your phone out of your pocket before the pedalo’s though as mine is now resting at the bottom of the lake!
Some of the reviews note the barn conditions are poor but it’s worth knowing this is still a working farm, rather than a polished Folly Farm type experience 🙂
The farmers were also great to chat to, telling us all about the different animals and letting the kids get up close.

Really good trip to the fantasy farm. We had a big group of us including 2 young children it was great for all ages. Good price to get in for what you get. Good idea to take change for the extra little bits. Lots of thought and effort has gone into the farm. The owner of the farm was present and was very friendly. My little girl enjoyed the whole park. We were given a leaflet before going in explaining what was happening at time intervals. Overall great experience.

We visited as a family of 4 (5yo and 2yo) whilst on holiday in Borth. This place is totally worth every penny from animal feeding/handling, tractor rides, pedalos, play areas and most importantly the friendly staff. Yes there are areas that need a bit of TLC but personally this didn't matter to us as we had such a great time. Gutted we don't live closer so we could return whenever.

Driving in it didnt look the best but thought we would give it a go. Lady on the counter very friendly and explained what the had and all sounded good. £12 for an adult and £11 for a child. It looks a bit run down but started out ok. Tractor and trailer ride was quite fun. Soft play area with inflatables was good. The animals in the barn were really good and you could stroke all of them. However the rest of the park remained me of the funfair on father ted. The peddle go carts were broken. Pedalos looked dodgy and the seats were all soaking - no offer to dry them so we didnt go on. Mini golf looked rubbish - wellies stuck down as an obstacle. Sandpit diggers run down, rodeo bull £2 extra - again looks run down, electric go carts - had to pay more for, kids were too small for the gokarts and the park was run down. Not worth the money in my opinion. Cardigan island farm costs less and has a better park and a more natural animal environment. If it rains go to moody cow play barn. I would not return.

My husband paid, I think it was £7.50 or thereabouts for us, and £6.50 again not sure for the children, but if you return before 31 August you get in for half price.
