Apart from a glorious beach, there is a nature center and a wide range of ranger led and self-directed walks and bird tours. Kayaking is offered from the gift shop.

This is a beautiful spot to spend the day. Relax on the broad beach, stroll along the ocean, and take a swim in the usually warm water. Great place for a family picnic.

Kayak rentals which can be paddled in a protected lagoon as well as a secluded beach. Nice activities as well as a small stage for concerts.

The boardwalk is long but good fun with lots to see as you walk across it to keep young children occupied. The beach was practically deserted and very clean.

Just beautiful!! We rented kayaks and packed a picnic. There is a great little museum, small gift shop, and boardwalk to the beach. The kayaking is in the lagoon. Restrooms are clean and plenty of parking.

We enjoyed taking out 2 double kayaks with our boys. They made it easy and the rate was much more affordable than singer island rentals. The boys also enjoyed the nature center and gift shop. We will go back to enjoy more of the park....More

if you check the maps/charts you will find it to be quite a distance. I don't think the kayaking from the park would allow such a trip - but if you have your own kayak it would be possible. Watch out for the power boat... More
