The State Park is a great place for adults and kids. You learn about what Florida was like before it was developed. The displays are great and very educational and interesting. You take a golf cart over a bridge to the beach and Use the beach You can also follow a path a learn about the many shrubs and trees.... More

We just spent a couple of hours wandering this State Park before heading to the airport and wish we had had more time. Beautiful quiet spot at midday on a March weekday. Parking was easy and the quarter-mile walk across the causeway was easy and beautiful. Cross the dunes on the walkway and there is a pretty and uncrowded beach.... More

This is an unexpected gem! Gorgeous from the parking lot to the shore! Parking is $5, but it's a very, very small price to pay for this untouched jewel. The walk across the inland is lovely. I wish we'd skipped Juno and come straight here!

Inexpensive place to explore. Great beach, lots to learn, hiking trails, kayaks to rent! There is an education center, a gift shop and a boardwalk with a shuttle. If spending time outdoors is what you are craving, this is the place.

I recommend get there before the tram stops at 4. Otherwise it is a half mile each way. Shallow water about 1/4 mile with knock down waves to dive into mucho fun. Seashells, sandcastlez and relaxation. Go potty before you visit if possible bathrooms by beach were primitive.

The beach is wonderful, not crowded and clean. Great for kids. Go to the Nature Center. The kayaks are great! You can paddle over to Munyon Island beach, maybe see some sea life or birds and have a really fun time. Love this park.

MacArthur State Park is a true treasure located in Palm Beach County. The 1/4 mile boardwalk over the estuary is a nice easy walk and the scenery is peaceful. Crystal clear blue waters at the beach and calm seas on the day we went. Lots of butterflies to enjoy in the nature trail. We will definitely be back.

Check out the sea turtle by the gift shop! Clean beach, not crowed, clean bathrooms, picnic area. Even a tram to the beach.
