This is well worth the visit! There are a variety of animals to see and the area is clean and well cared for. I love the resident Dalmatian and cats that roam around as well. It's nice to see these animals in a setting outside of a zoo!

This is my first wildlife rehabilitation center visit and I must say, the experience was wonderful. The varieties of birds included peacocks, chicken, parakeet, cuckoos and varieties of animals - Florida panther, bobcats, Bengal cat, lemurs, fox, camel, sheep, horse, kangaroo and much more. We just enjoy our visits every time we come in town. It's rewarding to see humans helping animals or are the animals rehabbing the humans? Highly recommended!

My husband and I were looking for something to do in Okeechobee and ran across this little gem. What a great side trip! They have so many different animals that they are helping. Vicky was great and very knowledgeable.

Very polite people; Lisa was very informative. Very nice mix of animals, playful and clean. Thank you for what you do for these animals and allowing the public to enjoy them as well.

Tucked away on 144th St just north of the city of Okeechobee on 441 is a wonderful sanctuary with treasures from around the world. The caretakers of the animals are warm with welcomes, and offered a tour. While walking through you see wildlife expected and unexpected in Florida. My most favorite is the field of animals you dont normally see... More

The staff is so nice, and very informative. Our friends that were with us use a walker and they offered to show them around in the cart if needed. But the grounds were very easy walk through. Amazingly clean for the hundreds of animals they care for
