I love The Orlando Solar Bear Hockey team, but the Amway Stadium is getting worse every year with the rules. I am completely on board with the masks, social distancing in the seats, and no large bags/purses (may have a weapon or bomb - I got it). For the last 5 years, all sporting events allowed a small clear bag to be brought into their stadiums. However, at today's home game (3rd of the season), I was told I couldn't bring my CLEAR Solar Bear bag into the stadium. I was told that I would have to carry my items in if I wanted them. As a female, most of our clothes don't have pockets, or pockets of any great size. So I have to carry my keys, my credit cards, phone, noise-makers, and maxipads/tampons in my hands into the stadium? Are you serious? How embarrassing! Plus, when I get to my seat... where do I put them? On the floor? That's not hygienic (dirt, debris, bacteria, and possible Covid droplets are on the floor). I was told the rule against all bags (even CLEAR bags) is because of Covid because they don't want their guards having to touch our items. CLEAR BAGS... I'm pretty sure that the guards can see through them and I can hygienicly keep all my items save and in place. This new rule is completely inconvenient to their female fans. If you are going to make rules, put some logic into them! You are losing fans and attendance is low, it's going to get worse if you continue to alienate a specific gender of your fan base! Worse part - the clear bag was given to us last year by the Orlando Solar Bears for being Season Ticket Holders. You are seriously making me consider not renewing my tickets!…

Disappointing. They should be called Trans-Siberian Death Metal Rock Band. They share as much in common with an Orchestra as Mozart shared with the Beasite Boys. My wife and I dressed up and went to their show to see an Orchestra play, I should have worn jean shorts and flip flops. Change your name or change your music!…

Me and my family came here to watch the Orlando Magic play the Knicks. Our seats were on Courtside and had one of the best views in the house. The hospitality was great and it was all very interactive. The waiters running the "in-seat" services were very attentive and friendly too, a must do if you are staying in Orlando.…

Nice venue to watch a concert or a sporting event. We have seen a number of both over the years with Sara Barielles the latest last fall. They have some nice bars to have a drink beforehand (though very pricey). The sound and lights are excellent.

We have been here several times now, both to watch the Orlando Magic and the Orlando Solar Bears (lets go Bears!), and weve had a fantastic experience each and every time. It is about 30-35 minutes (with traffic) away from the Disney resorts and costs around $35 dollars each way. They have some metal detectors which work a lot better than the ones at the Disney resort as they picked up a couple of my things that Disney didnt pick up. Once you are through security, it is a very well signposted arena with escalators and lifts/elevators, and a number of shops/merchandise stands. There are also plenty of places to buy food, drinks and snacks. There are a lot of bathrooms with good, clean facilities. The seating in the area is generous, with really good leg room and comfortable, wide seats which will suit most body sizes and shapes. They have big cup holders for your oversized American drinks and space under the seats for bags etc. It is a relatively compact arena, so, even the seats quite high up would have a decent view. Its always had a good atmosphere when weve been there, and the announcers and the Amway Center staff work hard to make it a good time. I go to watch football/soccer in the UK and i have a season ticket, and i find the American games a lot more interactive and fun; a lot less aggressive amongst fans! Id have no problems recommending either the Orlando Magic or the Orlando Solar Bears to families. If you are getting an Uber/Lyft from the game, there is a special area just 30 seconds walk from the arena to get to. If you are unsure where, once you are outside go to the Orlando Magic shop, have your back facing to the shop as if you were leaving and then just walk forward. 30 Seconds walk and you are there. In short - we love the Amway Center! A great place for a nights entertainment.…
