Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is an all-you-care-to-eat, family-style luau featuring hula dancing and a fire-knife performer at Disney's Polynesian Resort.Situated on the Seven Seas Lagoon, the open-air covered dining theater provides a comfortable setting for authentic music and dances, with beautiful costumes, irresistable rhythms and the show-stopping fire-knife dance! The many nations of the South Pacific unite in an evening of spellbinding magic that tells the tale of a native girl returning to her people and her traditions. You'll almost believe you've been transplanted to the tropics as you and your loved ones share platters of authentic foods such as barbequed pork ribs, roast chicken, fresh pineapple, salad with mango poppy seed dressing garnished with Mandarin oranges, Polynesian-style rice and seasonal vegetables. Save room for the chocolate ""mouse"" volcano! (Parents of finicky little ones, fear not: There's a limited children's menu). Beer, wine and soft drinks are included for Guests 21 years of age or older (picture ID required). Celebrations are acknowledged in the show.

After a long hot day in the parks, this beautiful outdoor restaurant lit up with twinkle lights amidst tropical foliage was just what we needed. It provided not only a refuge from the crowds, but the service was prompt and there were appetizers waiting when...More

Attended to celebrate a family birthday. The hosts and chef were super accommodating of my celiac disease/gluten free needs. I had a separate platter for the first and last course of the meal. The main course is actually safe for gluten/wheat allergies since they use...More

To start - I was like you, reading through reviews, debating about whether or not to do the Spirit of Aloha show at our last trip to Disney this August. I'm glad I didn't let the nay-sayers deter me from ultimately deciding to go, because...More

The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed that aspect very much. The service was excellent as well. However, in our opinion, the show was excessively long... I had hoped the entire show would be more like the ending-- traditional dancing from a variety of...More

Enjoyed the dinner show only wish it was more authentic and less high school acting since it does cater more towards adults. Yes there are many kids there as well but my kids like the end with the fire dancer and more authentic dances throughout...More

First of all, I love most things Disney. But this show was bad. And the food mediocre. The 3rd act was mildly entertaining. The firedancer was definitely the best part of the show. My husband and 3 children were all bored, the show seemed to...More

Food is served family style at the table. Food is good, but far from being memorable. The show itself is horrendous; it is high-school talent at best: loud, cheesy joke and way too long.

As an annual pass holder of Disney, our family has had the opportunity to experience many of the restaurants that are offered at the Disney parks. While Disney does a great job overall in customer service in the parks, it does seem to lack the...More

Food was decent. Menu was chicken, pork ribs, pulled pork, coconut rice, and veggies. All served on one big plate. Show was extremely corny off the bat. However, it picks up at the midway point and becomes quite enjoyable.

We tried to do that when we were there a few weeks ago and we were only able to reserve cat 3. It's my understanding that with the dining plan you can only get seating in cat 2 or 3. It was a full house the night we went so... More

You don't have to stay at a Disney property or have tickets to Disney World, but you do have to make reservations in advance, weeks ahead. It's very popular.

The parking is at the Polynesian Hotel- plenty of spaces and not that far of a walk from the parking lot to the lobby and then out the back of the hotel to the show.
