This loop drive is quite peaceful with lots of little stops along the way (3 state parks, 1 county park, beach areas). I liked how you drove through wetlands, then along the beach. Part of the road is narrow - I would be scared to...More

We actually take the loop once a month in a car. It is enjoyable, you see something different every time. The road floods easy . You see trucks pulled over to fish or hunt. I would like to try it on a motorcycle . Bike...More

The loop is lovely old Florida. Bird life abounds. Opal oak trees with hanging moss. Better for motorbikes than bicycles as there are no shoulders on the roads

A nice drive through a diverse group of coastal environments. Well marked and maintained road. A well worth experience and change of pace from the beach.

It is so relaxing except when many bicyclists are riding. The County must make a safe bike lane for the bike riders.

My first ride through the loop was on a motorcycle, which made it even more exciting. It's beautiful no matter what your mode of transportation is.

We love this ride on the bike but hadn’t been here in 4 years. The hurricane did some damage to the serenity of the ride but still well worth the experience!

Lovely ride through marshland. Artists and fishermen find it special. Narrow road demands slow speed.

Motorcycle must ride, through the canopy that loops around the Tomoka basin. I have lived here all my life and have done this ride hundreds of times and never tire of it.

This is a very pristine region of old preserved Florida. Estuaries, waterways, deep woods, wildlife. If you want a scenic, non-touristy, sidetrip check this area out!

The Loop consists of over 30 miles of roads, so I don't think a walking hike would be a good idea. We did see several bicycles groups out on the roads. I'm sure that would be a better choice for that "Up Close & Personal... More
