Nice playground for kids and biking and walking trails. Disappointed that they don't allow fishing. Had an overlook that was nice but burned down But I heard that they have since rebuilt it.

Beautiful passive park with spectacular views of our bay and estuaries. Such a wonderful place with great Pinellas County history. This is where the kids learned to swim in the 40's and 50's before public pools and home pools. Delightful on a cool day.

this is a cute short visit, but don't plan a day around it, unless you are planning to just hang out in the park. Nice place for a kids birthday.

We drove up from Largo, lured by the glowing reviews and lovely pictures, only to find out much of the park is closed. We were told by a nice park official that it will be closed for a year. We showed up to high fences with no trespassing signs. The front area of the park remains open, with picnic tables,... More

I've walked in the summer (hot, hot), Spring - both alone and with solo friend and group, and this is really a great park. Wonderful walkways, bridges, wildlife at every turn. Places to sit, shade, water, nice bathrooms. A great take off spot for walking or biking right by the Pinellas Trail. Good playground for children. Fishing, photography. Everyone should... More

This is a great place to laze about. It is very well kept and clean. Lots of bridges to see fish. Paths along the water offer some cooling on a warm day. Great place to relax for a few hours.
