My wife and I love coming here for long relaxing walks along the shoreline. Perhaps the most serene park in the area and one of the key reasons I LOVE living here.

Great park. It has several elevated wooden walks through swamp and woods. Located right at the south east end of lake Tarpon. It’s really a nice quiet place to picnic or just view some wildlife.

You can picnic under pavilions, play baseball, birdwatch, fish, put in a boat at the ramp, jog, let pets run in their own area or just sit on a bench and watch the deer run about. It's relaxing there. I am a frequent visitor.

Their primary boardwalk is a loop that takes you out into the swamp... no climbing. Depending on the season, bring bug spray.

Deer are more lively earlier in the morning or closer to dusk. Alligators are seen more when its cooler out( Morning or evening.) Thats what I was always told or have experienced.
