Visit when it's cooler. It's a beautiful park. The mounds are not cleared off like they are in Georgia but we enjoyed they had an accessible ramp instead of stairs.

Emerson Point gives you excellent views and access to Tampa Bay, blending the attraction of the water with the abundant availability of fauna. Great for the nature lover to spend a few hours there.

Special place right here in Palmetto. It has trails, beaches and fishing. There is a lookout overlooking Tampa Bay, amazing. It is totally free. Great place to go.
