Loved a leisurely hour browsing all the art. The photography was my favorite. No admission change, but donations are accepted. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. You can check the web site for new displays of art. Also, various classes are offered.

A place of serenity and calm on a hot day on Harrison.

Continually improving, providing opportunities for local talent as well as introducing us to artists from further afield.

Different mediums, different genres, changing exhibitions...gift shop..friendly faces...

While you're exploring the area, be sure to check in and see what exhibits there are. It's worth your time and for that matter, there is just a donation box at the end of the hall, so you can't beat the price.

It's a nice side of Panama City and the area is very nice for browsing, shopping, eating, strolling, socializing, and just lazing around.

The Center for the Arts has some of the best art exhibits in the area! Gorgeous spaces, fantastic art, and super awesome staff, too! It's a vital part of the Panama City arts scene. They also have music events, art classes, and more.

A friend and I have been to the Panama City Center for the Arts for a painting class two years in a row. It's great fun for anyone who likes to paint. The one-time classes are held in the evening. For a very reasonable fee, you can select in advance what subject matter you want to paint under the guidance of an instructor and with paints and canvas supplied. Your painting makes a wonderful souvenir. Note: we were there in 2012 and 2013. (date was not an option on this review) We still have our paintings. I decorated my work space in an elementary school with mine. It's a good idea to wear old clothes or at least take a paint shirt along.

My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of art on display at the Center for the Arts! We have been traveling across the Florida Panhandle and the Center was a highlight. We enjoyed meeting the energetic director Kim Griffin White.

Visiting PC Center for the Art's is always very pleasant and welcoming. I have always been greeted and often by the Director. The exhibits are well laid out. It is not a formal or pretentious atmosphere which helps to make it a comfortable, non-threatening experience, where you feel free to take your time and explore.

The Center for the Arts is an under visited gem in Downtown Panama City. Under its previous director it had fallen into disrepair and was mismanaged. Under the awesome leadership of Kim Griffin White it has been reborn as a showcase for the arts. It has a wonderful mixture of both local and international art by both established artists and very talented school children. If you haven't been there recently you are missing out on one of the jewels of downtown. My wife and I try to visit regularly as the exhibits change frequently. In addition to exhibits the center also features art classes and has rental space available for events. It is within easy walking distance of good food at Millies, Ferrucis, Tatianas and Trigo.
