I did not know the Panama City Beach had a park near by the beach. It was very close to Pier Park. Tail of boardwalk had a real Florida atmosphere. I loved walking with my kids before heading beach.

Love to come here for the many trails to bike. Quiet & most of the time very few people on the trails we select, even on the busy days. Enjoyable for sure, the trails make good running too. We have heard the wild pigs but...More

Since this opened I have often walked the many trails for hours, often without seeing another person when I get away from the visitor center. I always am looking for bears, Florida Panthers, wild boars osprey, coyotes and much more. I have been a little...More

We arrived late in the afternoon and close to sundown so we did not do the entire park. We had our dog with us on a leash. The pictured walkway is necessary because of the swampy area. It was a pleasant stroll.

Many miles of hard packed trails which are great for riding bikes. Keep an eye out for loose poor deep sand areas along the way. You can see future paths where this will link future developments. It will be a great resource. If you're biking...More

Lots of trails to take. It would be nice to have a little more detail on each one before setting out. I hope to find one that has mature trees on it. Our favorite was a boardwalk over a lagoon. These trails are a bit...More

Went in February and didn't see any. Actually not much wildlife then either. Did see immature bald eagle though. I am sure alligators are there, but they are not that active in cooler weather. No bugs in February either... More
