We were walking near the pier and thought it might be worth a walk. However, as we approached, we discovered that there was a charge! Admittedly, it was only $3 and, if you wanted to fish, the price rose to $7. But, it's the principle of the thing. I have walked on piers around the country and even had lunch... More

Visited in October 2016. Walked the pier with my parents who are both in their 60's. Nice pier, not a lot of boards sticking up like I have seen on other piers. Views were amazing and there are just enough benches for a person to take a rest.

My daughters and I rented two rods and fished for about an hour off the dock. We didn't catch anything but enjoyed ourselves. A bit pricey for an hour trip though- close to $40 for poles and bait plus $15 for pier access. The pier doesn't take Amex. Experienced locals were catching fish.

Nothing special except a pier jutting out into the Gulf. Nothing extra on the land end. You can fish, sightsee or whatever on the pier. Average parking nearby, but I had to park a ways away. I'd say I wouldn't drive a long ways to walk out onto the pier, although the view once on the end is impressive.

It makes for a great photo. Right across from the Pier Park. Take a stroll and lots of pictures of the emerald water.

Our trip to Panama City Beach was a spur of the moment decision after going to visit an area that was about an hour away. I thought that the pier was beautiful when we started walking towards it and then I was a little hesitant to walk the pier because it was $3 per person and I didn't think that... More

The pier was very neat to walk on. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars was because it does cost $3 a person just to walk on it. It is beautiful though. We also saw a sea turtle swimming in the ocean while we were out there. Lots of fishermen too.

Great place to watch the sunset. There's an admission to be paid. $3.00 for a non fishing person. $3.00 for a senior citizen fishing person. Price includes a Florida fishing license. The pier is 1,500 feet long.

Took a morning walk on the beach. Saw the pier, says it's PCB pier. Figured it was public. But no, $3 just to walk out there. I know it's cheap, but really!! Since when do you have to pay to walk on a pier. I've been to lots of places in Florida and never had to pay. Oh well, lesson... More
