If you are seeking peace and quiet, solitude, few crowds, a closer connection to nature and the Gulf of Mexico drive to the end of the road, park, and walk about a mile and enjoy the day.

Beautiful white beach with restrooms, parking, and picnic pavilion nearby. It is part of the National Seashore so there is a small admission fee. Less crowded than Pensacola Beach. Lifeguards are on duty seasonally. Located on Perdido Key. If you are over 62, your senior pass to National parks gets everyone in your car in for free! Don't fight the... More

This is family friendly, unspoiled sugar white beach. Miles of walking with no cars in site. No development. Could not be better beach.

Johnson Beach is one of my favorite beaches to visit. It is just as beautiful as the other beaches in the area, but it is much more quiet. There are rarely crowds, so it's a nice place to go to relax.

Johnson's 7-mile long beach is BOTH 4-miles of "FAMILY" beach and 3-miles of "NUDE" beach if desired, including the sand-dunes between the Gulf side beach and the intercostal side beach. It is all a Federal park, so nudity is not legal. However, if no one sees you or complains, it is a great way to enjoy nature naturally!!! If you... More

We got a condo from southern rentals it was perfect the waves aren't too big it was spotless and from our entry off a little entrance it was a very short walk in the sand to shoreline I will always go here... By comparison to many other beaches, this is a place to relax away from the crazy show-offs. The restrictions of use as it is part of the National Shores on the Gulf must keep the party people away. Which makes it a wonderful place for the rest of the folks who actually want to enjoy the sand and water for... More

A great place to enjoy swimming, walking or flying a kite. Great family fun and a beautiful beach. It costs to get in but well worth the price. They have covered shelters for picnics.
