This museum is amazing even if you are not a aviation or history fan. It is full of aircraft, engines, naval artifacts, displays and several simulators. It is family friendly, even has a play area for the kids. Several interactive displays and numerous detailed models of aircraft carriers. We did not have time to see any movies or read all... More

My 85 year old father had not returned to Pensacola since basic training. I wanted him to have the experience of seeing the planes that he had flown for the US Navy. We spent the better part of two days at the museum. We were able to see the Blue Angels practice which was a thrill in itself and we... More

This was our third or fourth visit to the museum. It is an amazing collection of aircraft from the beginnings of naval aviation through modern and space vehicles. Many vignettes of different eras of aviation plus films and interactive exhibits. Most of the museum is indoors and air conditioned. There are docent guided tours for a more in depth experience.... We planned our trip to the museum to coincide with the Blue Angels practice session. I think these happen most Tuesday's and Wednesday's at 11.30, but check the Museum website, as they don't do every week. Would recommend arriving early, we didn't get there until about 10.30, by which all the bleacher seating had gone. We rented chairs, you can... More

Love, love, love this place. Has a lot of history to learn in this museum. Enough items here that you could spend all day. Very informative. Would love to go back.

This was such an interesting museum! We joined a tour group and the guide was wonderful! I would recommend going on a guided tour-you learn so many details not included on the signs. Afterwards take time to see the rest of the museum-I enjoyed the home scenes from WWII on the second floor. In the other building we saw a... More

Fantastic. Second trip to show friends and complete our previous tour. However we could visit daily and see something new each time.

This was our second visit to this Museum and it was as good as the first time we visited. The Museum has a lot of Navy and Marine planes to see. Make sure you go to the second floor and go on the aircraft carrier simulation. That one thing was worth the visit.

Definitely recommend spending some time here. We're also viewed the "Magic of Flight" movie, which I recommend. Plan on spending some time here, as there is a lot to see and read. We ate lunch onsite at Cubis. The food was good and reasonably priced. Take a jacket/sweater with you; the temperature outside was warm, but the museum was cold.
