We initially went to tour the Naval Air Station thinking it was the only thing to do there. Then we saw the lighthouse. It is an actual working lighthouse! We saw the light from it the night before while visiting Ft. Pickens. The 177 stairs to climb may intimidate some, but don't let it...the view at the top if BREATHTAKING!... More

Beautiful light house & museum. Lots of steps to climb. Cost $7 per person to visit. Must wear shoes no flip flops.

This by far was the most inspiring place I have vacationed. I love the beach and am a pilot, so sitting on the beach while watching, feeling and hearing the blue angels do touch and goes all day was incredible.

We went to visit the air museum and went here to see the lighthouse I was actually impressed thinking it would be a short stop but there are a lot of things to see here you have to climb to the top for an amazing view

If your a history buff you will love this. A historic lighthouse, Naval air museum, Civil war fort, Spanish fort and more. We spent the entire day here and did not see it all. Can't wait to return for the rest.

We love lighthouses and we had to stop at the lighthouse on the Naval Air Station. It's first class all the way around. My wife enjoyed the gift shop and I decided to walk up the steps to the top of the lighthouse. The view from the top was beautiful. You can see for miles and if you're into photography,... More

Our trip to the museum was dampened by the 45 minute line to get through the west gate, since the Navy refuses to let anyone in or out of the other gates, without explanation. I suppose that's the way they've always done it.
